Technology Utilization For Improved Weight Loss

New cloud-based clinic integration allows Aceva to refine weight loss protocols.

Aceva has been working with technology partners to provide better analytic reporting on weight loss outcomes. Starting on February 1, 2017 Aceva will have a unified database providing weight loss outcomes from clinics across the country. “We are focused on showcasing the clinical validity of our customized weight loss program utilizing pre and post patient reporting, blood testing, and now, body composition assessments,” stated Joshua Staub RD, CSSD, LDN, CLT, one of the lead designers of the MetaLife Weight loss system. “We are reproducing our findings of increased energy, improved mood, reduced pain and better sleep in the field as we have seen in our beta testing groups. Our ultimate goal is to validate sustainable, long-term weight after a twenty-four month period and with our new technology we should have the data to prove those outcomes in the next twelve months.”

The MetaLife Difference

Fast, short-term weight loss has been shown to cause loss of muscle tissue, hormone imbalances, excess cravings and mood disorders. Not only are there clinical concerns of fast, short-term weight loss but people usually revert back to their original diet causing rebound weight gain. The MetaLife Weight Loss program creates a custom diet for you based on a higher protein and higher fat diet. The MetaLife diet is designed to reduce cravings while you learn a long-term diet plan that can be implemented for the rest of your life. Sustainability in regards to weight loss requires behavior modification, end of story. Without education, inspiration, accountability and behavior change, there is little hope for sustainable weight loss and this is where the MetaLife program fills the gap found in most programs in the industry.
